Anja is sinds 1997 de enthousiaste dirigent van Het Huisorkest. Zij studeerde in dat jaar af in de schoolmuziek in Zwolle.
In juni 2003 heeft Anja de opleiding orkestdirectie bij Gerrit Fokkema afgerond. Voor concerten van Het Huisorkest dirigeert Anja niet alleen bestaande muziek, maar arrangeert en componeert ze ook zelf stukken.
Naast het Huisorkest zet Anja zich in voor haar bedrijf ‘Denemo Producties’, dat zich specialiseert in het maken en uitvoeren van muziektheater voor basisscholen.

Anja has been the enthusiastic conductor of Het Huisorkest since 1997. In that year she graduated in school music in Zwolle.
In June 2003, Anja completed the orchestral conducting course with Gerrit Fokkema. For concerts by Het Huisorkest, Anja not only conducts existing music, but also arranges and composes pieces herself.
In addition to the House Orchestra, Anja is committed to her company ‘Denemo Productions’, which specializes in making and performing music theater for primary schools.
